Does YTI supply Polycold refrigerant charges?
Yes. YTI supports model-specific refrigerant supply for many Polycold-style cryochillers and water-vapor cryopumping systems. The exact unit, refrigerant label, service history and current configuration should be reviewed before the charge is confirmed.
What is the difference between a full charge and a top-off?
A full charge is intended to restore the model-appropriate refrigerant charge after recovery, service or other work requiring a complete charge. A top-off adds refrigerant to an existing charge. If refrigerant has been lost unexpectedly, YTI recommends identifying the cause before repeatedly adding refrigerant.
Can I use a different refrigerant in an older Polycold system?
