Large CVC diffusion pump for industrial high-vacuum systems
The CVC 35-inch diffusion pump is a large industrial high-vacuum pump originally produced by Consolidated Vacuum Corporation for applications requiring substantial pumping capacity.
Equipment references identify the large CVC PMC-32C design as a 35-inch pump that later became closely associated with the Varian HS-35 family after Varian acquired rights to the design. That makes this pump particularly relevant to facilities operating older CVC and Varian vacuum coating and processing equipment.
