Complete Varian HS-35 high-vacuum pump stack
YTI currently has one Varian HS-35 diffusion pump stack immediately available for purchase at $4,500. The assembly is intended for large industrial high-vacuum systems where an HS-35-class pumping package is required.
The HS-35 is a large diffusion pump used in demanding industrial processes such as vacuum coating, metallizing, heat treatment, vacuum furnaces, optical coating and other high-throughput applications.
HS-35 factory-reference specifications include approximately 28,000 liters per second air pumping speed, approximately 35,000 liters per second for helium and hydrogen, 24 kW pump power and a 35-inch ASA or ISO 1000F inlet.
Those specifications describe the diffusion pump itself. Performance of an installed pump stack also depends on the high-vacuum valve, baffle or cold cap, chamber conductance, foreline, backing pump, cooling system and controls.
Because this is a complete used equipment assembly, YTI should document the exact components included with the physical stack before installation. If the assembly does not directly match the customer’s existing system, YTI can review refurbishment, fabrication, controls and integration requirements.
